đ Instructions
Using the structure recommended in the previous lesson youâll create a simple sign-up page so that people can easily register for your free training.
đŁ Steps
- Create the content for your sign-up page using the following structure:
- The Hero Section (does most of the work)
- Pre-title: calls out your target market, such as: âFor Men Over 40 Who Struggle with Their WeightâŚâ
- Main title: an attention grabbing headline, such as: âHow to Lose Weight more Easily by Discovering Your Metabolic Typeâ
- Subtitle: expands on the promise of the headline with additional benefits and details.
- Supporting image: makes your sign-up page more eye-catching and reinforces its message in a more visual way.
- Date and Time: for a webinar happening at a fixed time, youâll need to include the date and time.
- CTA button: a prominent button with a clear âcall to actionâ such as: âYes! Sign Me Upâ or âRegister Todayâ.
- The Detail Section (gives people an extra nudge to sign up)
- Heading: a simple heading, like âWhat Youâll Learnâ or âHereâs What Weâll Coverâ
- Introduction: a short introductory sentence that describes the format and says a little about the instructor, such as: âIn this free, 5-part email series, created by âsuper coachâ Jason Duncan, youâll discoverâŚâ
- Bullets: a simple list of 3-5 bullets that âteaseâ the content of the free training, e.g., one bullet for each of these parts: The Hidden Hurdle, The Magic Method, and The Time-Saving Tool.
- The Hero Section (does most of the work)
- As you did for your sales page, build your sign-up page using your course platformâs page builder or create a page on your existing website. Note:
- For an automated email mini course, configure the sign-up form to collect an email address and then trigger the email campaign.
- For a live webinar, configure the CTA button on the sign-up page so that it links to your webinarâs registration page.
