📋 Instructions

Using the structure recommended in the previous lesson you’ll create a simple sign-up page so that people can easily register for your free training.

👣 Steps

  1. Create the content for your sign-up page using the following structure:
    1. The Hero Section (does most of the work)
      1. Pre-title: calls out your target market, such as: “For Men Over 40 Who Struggle with Their Weight…”
      2. Main title: an attention grabbing headline, such as: “How to Lose Weight more Easily by Discovering Your Metabolic Type”
      3. Subtitle: expands on the promise of the headline with additional benefits and details.
      4. Supporting image: makes your sign-up page more eye-catching and reinforces its message in a more visual way.
      5. Date and Time: for a webinar happening at a fixed time, you’ll need to include the date and time.
      6. CTA button: a prominent button with a clear “call to action” such as: “Yes! Sign Me Up” or “Register Today”.
    2. The Detail Section (gives people an extra nudge to sign up)
      1. Heading: a simple heading, like “What You’ll Learn” or “Here’s What We’ll Cover”
      2. Introduction: a short introductory sentence that describes the format and says a little about the instructor, such as: “In this free, 5-part email series, created by ‘super coach’ Jason Duncan, you’ll discover…”
      3. Bullets: a simple list of 3-5 bullets that “tease” the content of the free training, e.g., one bullet for each of these parts: The Hidden Hurdle, The Magic Method, and The Time-Saving Tool.
  2. As you did for your sales page, build your sign-up page using your course platform’s page builder or create a page on your existing website. Note:
    1. For an automated email mini course, configure the sign-up form to collect an email address and then trigger the email campaign.
    2. For a live webinar, configure the CTA button on the sign-up page so that it links to your webinar’s registration page.
