📋 Instructions
Guided by the items on your change list you will upgrade some or all of the content assets from your beta course in preparation for your full launch.
What this looks like in practice will depend on a number of factors:
- Your chosen content format (and whether you plan to switch content format for the next launch)
- The types of content changes you intend to make, e.g., structural, substantive or script-level
- Whether you plan to upgrade the production quality of your assets
- Whether you plan to only make only tactical upgrades (specific assets for specific reasons) or more strategic upgrades (some aspect of most or all of your assets)
💡 Tips
- You needn’t complete all of your planned upgrades before relaunching – just enough to keep your students busy for a week or two. Once your course is launched you can upgrade the content as it is needed.
- Try not to over-engineer your first full launch. Yes, you’ll want to make improvements after running your beta, but don’t overdo it. Most courses continue to get incremental updates over their lifetimes anyway.
