You’ll choose one of the lessons you just planned out and create a sample lesson using the production process you’ve already practised.
On completing this assignment you’ll have a finished lesson video (talking head or slideshow style) or a text-based lesson page you can use in your course prototype.
👣 Steps
To complete this assignment you’ll need to:
- Pick one of the lesson plans you created in the last assignment.
- Create a first draft of your page content, video script or slide deck.
- Expand and revise the content until you have a finished draft.
- Use your production process to turn your content into a lesson in your chosen style (e.g., turn your slide deck into a narrated slideshow plus webcam video).
💡 Tips
Here are some additional notes to keep in mind:
- Be aware that this is one of the tougher assignments in the program because it combines a lot of different skills. Expect a few false starts and frustrations.
- Don’t set the bar too high for yourself. Remember this content is destined for a prototype version of your course – you may end up replacing it later.
- Make a note of any insights about the process that might save you time when producing future lessons.
